When transferring contacts from a source device into the Samsung (SCH-R970) using Cellebrite, use the following steps:
- Select Phone to Phone Transfer from the main menu
- Select source vendor
- Select source model
- Select Source Memory
- Next
- Select Samsung CDMA as the target vendor
- Select SCH-R970 (Android) as the target model
- Select Target Memory
- Select Content Types desired for the transfer
- How to find and turn on USB debugging mode in Android 4.2 and higher
To see the option for USB debugging mode in Android 4.2 or higher, do the following:
- Open up your device’s “Settings”. This can be done by pressing the Menu button while on your home screen and tapping “Settings”
- Tap the “More” tab
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “About Device”
- Scroll to the bottom and tap on “Build number” seven times
- Make sure you tap seven times. You will see a “Developer mode has been enabled” message pop up (you have unlocked USB debugging mode on Android 4.2 and higher)
- You will see Developers options available and you can now go in there and check the USB debugging
To enable/disable USB debugging mode, do the following:
- “Settings” -> “More” Tab -> “Developer Options” -> “Debugging” ->” USB debugging”
- Connect devices to UME36 (Cable #100 for the GS4)
